Nozzle spray patterns

The spray mode of the nozzle is distinguished in principle, and there are generally three types.

The first type: pressure drive is to use a water pump or other pressure device to press the liquid into the nozzle, and then control the flow and angle of the jet through the turbulence caused by the internal structure of the nozzle.

The second type: The compressed air is mixed with the liquid and sprayed out to form droplets with smaller particle size. Because this type of spray mode has a small droplet diameter, it is generally used in spray fields that require atomization, such as cooling , Humidification, dust removal, etc.

The third type: the vibration of piezoelectric ceramics is used to break the liquid and spray it out. This type of nozzle can produce a very small droplet diameter, generally below 10 microns, so this kind of fog will not wet the object, and it is generally used in Humidification, landscape and other fields.

The spray pattern of the nozzle is distinguished from the spray shape, which can be divided into 6 types.

The first type: flat fan nozzle, which has a long spray shape with an olive or rectangular cross section.

The second type: full cone nozzle, the nozzle has a conical spray shape with a circular cross section.

The third type: hollow cone nozzle, the spray cross section of the nozzle is in the shape of a ring.

The fourth type: square nozzle, which can spray a pyramid-shaped spray with a square cross-section.

The fifth type: elliptical nozzle, which can produce a spray shape with an elliptical cross section.

The sixth type: straight nozzle, which can spray a cylinder of equal diameter, which has the strongest impact.
